Are you passionate about culture, sport, and passing knowledge on to the next generation? This February, we’re inviting community members, coaches, educators, and sport leaders to take part in Northern Games & Dene Games Instructor Training in Yellowknife.

This six-day training opportunity is designed to build confident instructors who can teach, demonstrate, and safely deliver Northern Games and Dene Games in their communities. Participants will gain hands-on experience, learn proper techniques and rules.

Beyond the physical skills, the training emphasizes the cultural significance of both Northern Games and Dene Games, recognizing their role in strengthening identity, encouraging wellness, and bringing communities together. Whether you’re brand new or have some previous experience, this training offers a supportive environment to deepen your knowledge and grow your confidence as an instructor.
