The third Indigenous Summer Games are coming to Yellowknife, NT, on June 19–21, 2026, hosted at École Sir John Franklin High School.
Held every two years, the Indigenous Summer Games bring people together from across the North for a weekend that combines competitive sport with cultural celebration. The Games feature a range of events focused on individual performance, participation, and high-level competition.
With each edition, the Games continue to grow and have become a major multi-day sporting event in the North. Whether you are competing, supporting, or taking in the atmosphere, the weekend delivers fast-paced action and a strong energy throughout the venue.
