ISCNWT is Calling for Coaches for Team NT – 2026 Arctic Winter Games

The Indigenous Sport Circle NWT (ISCNWT), with Dene Games NT, Northern Games NT, and Archery NT, is excited to announce a call for coaches to help lead Team NT at the 2026 Arctic Winter Games in Whitehorse, Yukon, from March 8–15, 2026.
We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic coaches for the following sports:
Dene Games
Arctic Sports
Archery
Each Territorial Sport Organization (TSO) is looking for two coaches — one male and one female — to guide our athletes through both the Territorial Trials and the Arctic Winter Games themselves.
Eligibility Requirements:
Must be available for both the Territorial Trials (January 7–11, 2026) and the Arctic Winter Games (March 8–15, 2026).
Must submit a letter of support from a Community Champion (a community leader or recreation department).
If selected, must be able to provide a clean Criminal Record Check / Vulnerable Sector Check.
**Archery coaches must have. NCCP Level 1 - Instruction of Beginner Archery
This is a fantastic opportunity to share your skills, mentor talented athletes, and represent the NWT on the Arctic stage. If you are passionate about sport and committed to excellence, we want to hear from you!
