Community Development Grant Fall Intake Period Open

The intention of the ISCNWT Community Development Grant Program is to help offset the costs associated with the running of recreation programming, sport development and cultural activities that include physical activity.


Important Information


  • You can submit multiple applications for different projects in your community.

  • A letter of support from a Community Champion, an individual organization is required upon submission.

  • If you have received funding from ISCNWT in the past, you can reapply

  • Projects must take place in the Northwest Territories

  • You must submit a report upon completion of approved project/event.

  • Priority will be given to projects/events that build capacity, offer free programming, and involve the entire community.

  • ISCNWT funding is designed to help offset costs and not fully fund projects.

  • If you have received funding from the ISCNWT through the grant program previously, your application may be denied to allow other organizations or communities the opportunity.

  • Staff Wages

  • Per Diem


Application Intake Periods Schedule

The Community Development Grant Program will have two application intake windows. This schedule will be the same every year.


October 15 - November 30

April 15 - May 31


ISCNWT will only accept application sent within the intake period.
